Source

You need a source to distribute your audio via cat5 and  above you will see a receiver and the image of the A-BUS cat5 jack that is in the back.

Cable

From the source you extend the cat5 cable to the hub/amp to distribute to the various locations.

Hubs

The input coming from the receiver will go into this hub and you can send out the cat5 cable from here to your various locations.

Controllers

The cat5 cable from the hub will come into the controller that is in each room that you want sound. You can control the sound in each room independently. There are many styles available and many come with infrared that allow wireless remotes.

Speakers

Above is an in-wall/in-ceiling speaker. They come in many styles (even for outdoor use) and are often amplified for great sound quality.
